About the Business
Designthoughts, an independent design studio based in Truro, Cornwall was established in 2009 following designer Liz May's graduation from Falmouth University. Liz has had quite a journey since starting designthoughts, as she took the brave step of setting up on her own in 2009, only after a few months since she graduated. She has never looked back. Using my skills learnt at University combined with my knowledge of other forms of art and design such as photography and illustration, my design work is created with a look and feel that is individual to each and every project I work on.
I love using my experiences to create unique, thoughtful and inspiring designs. I feel that graphic design should work across a broad mix of items, so this collection will grow in the future. Living and growing up in Cornwall, Liz from designthoughts has a huge passion for Cornwall's beaches, the sea and this often inspires her in her work aswell.
